The name of your new album is „Lessons from the Late Night“. What is a late night’s lesson?
If you make a mistake in a late night it should never be a regret, it should only ever be taken as a lesson.
What is the perfect moment to listen to your music?
The perfect moment to listen to our music is when you’ve had a really bad day and you get home, it’s late at night, you’re by yourself and you need to get some aggression out or relax at the same time and you wanna walk away from it a little bit inspired. When you need motivation and inspiration. When you’re questioning things, when you need to be inspired again.
With whom would you like to make a song together?
I would like to make a song with Brody  from the Distillers.
Canadas queer music scene is expanding since a good while. How do you define „queerness“?
It’s funny that you use the word define. I think that queerness is about being very open, and not defining any role, whether it comes to gender roles or roles of sexuality. I think that somebody who is queer is open to everything and has a very welcoming spirit.
In 3 days you will be continuing your tour through Canada. Do you have time to spend in Munich and what will you do?
Tomorrow we’re going to be eating as many sausages as possible, and trying every German beer possible. Then we will go to Canada and tour Canada.
It’s your first show in Germany. Do you have an image of the typical German in mind? Maybe it has changed already?
After tonight everything has changed! What a great crowd, what an exciting moment to be able to play for, such an energized and spirited crowd. A lot of times North Americans can be worried about „how cool, they look so fine”, and in Germany it seems like people can have a good time and are really fallen to the music.
This is the best festival to start your career in Germany. Queer Beats is…
…phenomenal, great. And the girls are cute, too!
Will you stay here at the party and enjoy or will you leave soon?
Yes, we’re gonna hang out with these guys (Hunx & Punx, Anm. d. Red.) and watch their show.
Thank you very much!
